Trying to find bathing suits at this point always seems to be a challenge! Whether it’s finding the right color or print, style, mommy appropriate, or even just good quality fabric! So I decided I’m going to share with you some of my favorite affordable bathing suits and yes you can get them quick from Amazon.
Whether you became a mom or hit your 30s and just realized you need a bathing suit change that’s okay. It is so important to feel comfortable in your own skin and remind yourself your body is perfect the way it is. On that note let’s talk about a few details that I love and find important when picking bathing suits.
Comfort is key, you want to find a style that hits right where you want it to and a fabric that is breathable, soft and obviously cute.
Colors can be hard to dip into. I am definitely the person who gravitates to all black bathing suits because they match everything. They always look cute and they’re definitely very slimming, but recently, especially when it comes to wearing a bathing suit in summer I have really been trying to wear some colors. I love a good pink bathing suit or a fun print or even just going with a navy verses a black can change it up!
If you’re someone that’s on the pale side then you want to wear more pastel color bathing suits, while someone who had a good tan can dabble more with the summer neons.
Now let’s talk style. I am on team high waisted, always and forever! I secretly hope low rise never comes back in style lol. Personally I am very long and like when the high waist scoops up high on the sides like the bathing suits did in the 80s. Thank you fashion for always repeating history! But the best part is there are so many high-rise that go right across the stomach, which I think fits a lot of body types and makes people feel comfortable and secure.
Do you like to wear one pieces instead? Sometimes I even just need a good one piece bathing suit. My favorite time to wear a one piece is if it is a little chillier out or if I’m doing a night hot tub or a night party. There are so many mommy sexy one pieces out there now that you don’t feel like you’re just wearing the speedo brand sporty one piece from the 90s.
